Our promise
Repair Guarantee
Every repair we complete is covered for 12 months on both the parts we supplied and the labour on the fault we fixed. Here is exactly what that means.
Last updated 30 October 2026
1. What is covered
- The part we supplied and fitted, for 12 months from the date of the repair.
- Our labour on the same fault, for 12 months from the date of the repair.
- Return visits needed to complete an approved repair, at no extra labour charge.
- Diagnosis and testing if a covered fault returns during the guarantee period.
2. What is not covered
- A different fault, or a different appliance, to the one we repaired.
- Wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or an appliance used other than as designed.
- Work carried out by another engineer after our visit.
- Blockages, limescale or fluff build-up where the appliance has not been maintained.
- Faults caused by the property's wiring, plumbing or water supply.
3. How to claim
Call the office on 020 3691 1116 or email info@theappliancerepairs.co.uk with your job reference and what the appliance is now doing. We will book a visit, usually within two working days.
Please do not attempt the repair yourself or use another engineer before contacting us, as that removes the guarantee on the work.
4. Parts warranty limits
Where a manufacturer supplies a part with its own warranty period, the longer term applies to the part itself. Labour on a later return visit is covered for the 12 month period from the original repair.
5. If we cannot fix it
If the appliance cannot be repaired, or a repair would not be economic, we tell you honestly on the visit. You pay only the fixed labour charge for the diagnosis — there is no obligation to go ahead with parts or further work.
